I have created a tds game demo and hope to collect any suggestions

Hello everyone, i am creating an RTS type game with StarCraft 1 as the background. Currently, most of the functions have been completed. I hope to invite some friends to participate in the test. Any suggestions and encouragement are the driving force for me to continue moving forward.

Thank you all

Awesome game, you should keep working on it I see it’s potential. I suggest you work on making the gui more smooth (visually and movement wise). I suggest experimenting with tweenservice and UIcorners as well as having a consistent theme instead of having a range of colours for your gui. Goodluck!!

The game is good. I used to play RTS a lot. I like that the AI even started building inside my base when it started to destroy me.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have referred to your suggestion and re optimized the UI of the interface
I am not particularly good at UI design.

The next plan is to first optimize the effectiveness of the combat scenario and rebalance the AI.
Thank you again for your suggestion

Thank you for your affirmation.
I am extremely grateful for any feedback on bugs or suggestions related to the game.

Explanation of the use of automatic recruitment cards for novice rewards.
At present, each new user will receive a novice reward, including a VIP card and an automatic recruitment card.
After using the VIP card, all resource acquisition in the game will automatically increase by 10%
Automatic recruitment cards are convenient for users to automatically recruit preset units in the game when resources are sufficient.

The use of automatic recruitment cards is in the backpack interface of the lobby, as shown in the following figure:

After use, the expiration time of the current recruitment card will be prompted, as shown in the following figure:

When within the usage period, you can select the soldier’s birth building and set a preset soldier.
When the population and resource conditions are met, the system will automatically recruit the unit, reducing the complexity of players’ operations in the game.

Wow, impresionante el juego, sigue asi el juego tiene potencial, sigue actualizandolo

Thank you very much for your recognition

I have found that many friends are unable to win against computers in games, so I have made some degree of reduction in computer AI. I hope everyone can experience it again. For any suggestions and feedback, I am extremely grateful

In addition, there are two game modes to choose from when creating a game.
‘Free for all’: It means fighting independently and cannot form an alliance. There will also be battles between computers
Melee "means that all computers automatically ally and attack all player characters. Players can alliances with each other

I haven’t played it but seeing only the images in the topic, I can sense that the concept is quite unique, with alliances, and even computer ai??, I have tried to do something like this but like any other projects, i gave up. The UI also doesn’t look that bad unpolished, with good UX and mostly good contrast! massive W to you

update: i just played it and so far, im doing well, i figured out what to do and the computer isnt really aggresive (which is good for me, although it started being aggresive after), but to make a soldier formation i need to press ctrl+num, which my keyboard doesnt have numpad key (shame on me). also its hard to differentiate the different buildings, i suggest that you can see the building name on hover. nonetheless, its pretty fun, even with singleplayer

Thank you very much for your feedback.
Your suggestion is very good. I have added the feature you suggested to prompt building information.

In addition, previously, in order to reduce AI attacks, I reduced AI’s attack ability. Now some recovery has been carried out. Because I’m worried that players will soon be killed by the computer.

In the “free for all” mode, computers will attack each other, and a single player choosing this mode is likely to survive in the cracks of multiple computers.

If there are multiple players, you can choose another mode to ally against the computer.

Of course, there can also be no alliance between players. In both modes, players can engage in confrontations, but they also need to be prepared for computer attacks.
