Hello,
I just lost hours of scripting.
Basically, what happened was I had team create on so when I tried publishing my game, Roblox wanted me to commit scripts first otherwise they won’t show up in the new version of the game. Since a majority of the scripts didn’t exist, I didn’t want to face the hassle of going through everything. What I did instead was disable team create so that I don’t have to deal with the mess. Regret. Now my game lost all of the scripts I worked on and its hours of work wasted. Is there any way to restore it or is all hope lost?
You can check for auto saves in Documents > Roblox Studio
You can also go to game settings > places > the three dots > version history and then recover one from when the scripts were still there
Try re-enabling team create, I think I’ve done this same thing before and the drafts will still be saved. You just need to publish the drafts then disable drafts mode in case you want to keep team create enabled (I am a draft hater)
You should be able to go into your creative hub area to your place, and look up last version. Whenever you push a valid save too roblox directly, it creates a version save you can roll back too.
Wasn’t there a button to commit all the Scripts anyways? What do you mean when most of the scripts didn’t exist?
Probably learn from this mistake and try to save locally to your device regularly after making changes in your game for backup
