For April Fools I decided to make a game within a day just for fun for me and my friends to play. It’s called “mud” and it’s heavily based on this script showcase I saw a while back here.
The whole concept of the game is basically that. There is a puddle of mud on the ground that you can get, and you get mud. You can place mud or throw it. That’s literally the entire game.
I’m planning on adding more content, such as shovels and new material to be build with. I really want it to be a lot like an Minecraft anarchy server or Booga Booga, where people create stuff like civilizations and it would all be fun and games.
It’s good, however I think you should use TweenService for the little animation of the mud appearing, instead of using a for loop and increasing the size(I assume that’s what you did). Good luck on your game!
I see. I’m trying to experiment what Easing Style looks the smoothest with the best time. Right now, I’m using Sine with a time of .5 seconds. What do you suggest?
I actually met mrfunnylaughs4 on Scratch about 3 years ago and we’ve been really good friends since then, so I sent this to him on Discord! Not sure if you’ve already told him, but I thought that it would be cool to hear his thoughts. Keep up the good work!
i can run a simple conditional statement to help with that, because im scared someone will add a loop to fire all the remote events in it to lag the server into oblivion
