Not like same the last time I posted, I have updated a lot of things that you guys suggested to me before. I plan to grow this game up so I do really need your guys to feedback, suggestions, opinions, and more things to help me improve this game. Leave the comment down below to let me see what I need t do. Thank you all of you guys first.
P/s: I forgot to add some pictures.
Hello, I wasn’t here the first time around when you sent your first post but there are still some things I was hoping you could adjust in order to make your game more realistic. Firstly, the blur is a little too intense (even though it’s probably at 3-4), it just isn’t suitable for the game because I can’t see the details too well (I don’t use blur unless it’s for terrain). What you could replace your blur with is the depth of field and/or far intensity.
Also, the textured grass do not blend in with the terrain grass at all. I would suggest changing the color or finding a better grass model as this one is not appealing to me.
One last thing is the books (all of the books, not just on the bookshelves). As you can see the book spine are poorly resized cylinders. You should resize them smaller so that they fit the actual length of the books and negate the inside using a normal block.
One last thing is the extra environmental terrains. There should be more rocks displaced everywhere and I’d suggest you mix various terrain (a base with sand, or a rocky shore, and then some mud and grass at the top). I’m only saying this because seeing a rather small island with a waterfall doesn’t seem plausible. Though, it’s totally up to you, so skip this if you don’t feel the need to.
Overall, I thought the decoration and tree models were pretty good (except the blurriness hurt my eyes after spending 5 minutes in game ). The street lamps though could use some surface light as it’s just glass and doesn’t look very realistic.
Wow, my post is way longer than intended, but I hope I could be of help to you. Good luck!
