To keep this short I wanted to make devlog’s for my game to get feedback as development goe’s on and to get a audience interested in the game so I don’t have to spend Robux on advertisement but the latest shorts people are not engaging and swiping away how to I get people interested?
On the latest one I got 8 likes and 4 dislikes with only 368 engaged views and a (26.1% stay watching | 73.9% swipe away) ratio (more people swiping away is bad) so is there any way to get people interested?

It s because your videos don’t use the kinds of fast-paced edits, hooks, or emotional cues that typically grab attention on YouTube. They feel more like raw dev logs or personal updates rather than content designed to entertain or engage quickly, so viewers might click off early.
You should treat YouTube as its own craft, not just a place to talk about your game. Think like a content creator trying to capture interest first—then use that attention to build hype for your game.

Edits can be as simple as cutting out pauses, zooming in at key moments, or adding text to highlight what’s happening. You’re not trying to become MrBeast overnight, just meeting people where their attention is.
