Does anyone have an idea for a game that a beginner scripter could easily create???
I want to make a game so I can learn more practically and thus improve my scripting skills.
Thanks!

How new are we talking? Do you have any special talents that we should keep in mind or any specific limits? Anything that you would specifically like to learn?
I know all the basics, metatables, tables, module scripts etc …
I 've been actively coding for about 7 months but I started about 2 years ago. I’m good at using tables, for loops and such but I don’t really know how to take advantage of events, services and module scripts. Basically, I know the theory but get really confused when it comes to the practical side.
I just want to put my skills to the test and try to see problems that occur when making games.
Basically I want to make a game that can test my skills and breed knew ones, but isn’t ridiculously difficult to make
Would you be willing to dabble with inverse kinematic animations?
I don’t even know what that is lol and im rubbish at animation do probably not.
Swords.RBLX...The first remake of smart AIs playing ingame along with IO Game Design! - #2 by foilplays Hello there! So this link will take you to one of my projects where you can get ideas, basically try to import IO games onto roblox, you think you can manage that? It’s not that hard, probably 8/10
Hmm, as a start I’d recommend looking into improving your efficiency by looking into rojo, github, and VSC. After that I’d suggest doing some UI stuff, spawning gears/vehicles, and advanced variable changes.
Woah woah woah. I’m definitely not ready for that crazy rojo stuff and such, I’ve briefly tried Rojo and it’s not even close to beginner friendly.
However the spawning stuff is a really good idea, I could definitely use that! TY
Yeah, just spitballing as a game designer not as a scripter. Good luck!
do you have a game budget of money?
Based off of what kingpen has said, I’d assume no. He desires to improve his skills, not create money, for now. Even then, what exactly would the budget add for their learning? Could probably pay for a tutor and gain more learning from that…
ye well its awkward what’s his most powerful script hes done?
Maybe try to recreate some iconic games like Flappy bird, Pong, Tetris…
Google “Small game ideas”, there is a lot of small games you could do.
My idea that I saw somewhere else is a game where you stand in one place and there are enemies flying towards you from all directions. You have to look around and shoot them before they reach you.
