I’m making a game, and so far I’ve come up with the map (a school) and some mechanics. There is a day-night cycle, a tycoon for earning money, and other areas to explore such as the backrooms and a cheese dimension. All except for the day-night cycle are based off of inside jokes my friend group have made, and thought it’d be fun to turn it into a game.
But I don’t know what the main gimmick should be. Escape the school? Survive it? I want there to be a reason to explore the school, but also want to add replay value. How do I go about it?
I think this would be the best option. You need to survive school every day so that baldi doesn’t kill you.
Jokes aside, it does really seem like an idea you can base the game off of. You need to fight something in the school, and you can get weapons from the money you get from the tycoon.
