I need help, i forgot to design a core loop!

I was bored while developing my game Hollow Point so I decided to watch some roblox guides about engagement

there, I learnt about the need of Core gameplay loops, so I tried see if i noticed any loop already planned for HP
surprinsingly, in the 3-ish months it was in development, I didn’t make any core loop, probably not even thought about it, and now I’m stuck! I can’t find any good ideas!

I will explain what my game is about
it is mostly meant to be some kind of movement shooter, similarly to Titanfall 2 by respawn entertainment, and Ultrakill by hakita and the new blood studios
the game also feature classes, which 8 are already planned for the initial release, each class varies greatly from playstyle (example: one requires you to time your moves to get a damage boost, while other rewards you for being the most quick and disrupting as possible)
the game would feature teams from up to 5 players each, but some gamemodes would be either free for all or one against everyone

the closest I got for a core loop was playing a match > winning > getting skins > repeat, but it might not work after all the skins are already unlocked and it doesn’t seem that fun!

so I ask you, kind devforum reader, can you help me find an engaging core loop? thanks in advance!

I think that core loop is already pretty good, and is even used in other games like Arsenal or Murder Mystery 2.

To prevent your issue where having all the skins in the game, you could simply update the game with new skins every month or make events (like Arsenal and MM2).

while it can work, I don’t really believe it’s the best way to go on about this
arsenal and MM2 are pretty popular yea, but if i remember well, they got tons of different skins
while for me, i am pretty much working 100% alone, and I have no prior experience with 3D modelling, it was already hard for me to model the hood of one of the classes, so I don’t believe I can make like 40 skins for an initial release

Then you could make something easier like gun skins, particles effects or death effects

if the game has depth and it’s fun people will play mostly for the gameplay instead of playing to unlock stuff, your core loop is fine, if you want to add more stuff, add like an rng stats increase that acts as a money sink, so people have always something to spend money on

a rng stat increase that requires money on a competitive game? honestly dont seems like a good idea, my best idea i had so far was making some type of weapon unlock when you win matches, similarly to team fortress 2, but every player can get the weapons for free, and the weapons give you variants of your moveset

I only buy p2w gamepasses that’s why i said that, there’s some people that don’t care about skins and cosmetic items, by adding p2w things you earn more money but it’s up to you, still add a money sink

p2w would make the game more fun for people who have the money, but what about the other players who just want to have fun? I don’t want my game’s reputation to be stained because of pay to win

who cares bro roblox is all about volume, the more you earn the more roblox shows your game to more people
