I need help on the basics of having a gfx commission page

Hi! Would someone please guide me through how to make and run a good Roblox Gfx commission page?
This is an example of what i’m cable of: (a screenshot from a Roblox animation on my channel)

-What would you be willing to pay for this? and what do you think a rough price range could be for this?
-can I solely communicate with clients with the PM system on the Devforum? (I don’t have any other platform, besides Youtube.)
-How can I accept payment (Robux) from people using Roblox, and how does ‘group funds’ work?

  • How do I identify a potential scammer?
  • when is the ‘safest’ time to accept/ask for payment- before making the gfx, during the process, ask them for the robux first and then make it etc.?

Thank you so much if you’re able to give me help, I truly appreciate it!

For the first question, the dynamics are flat on the picture meaning contrast edits need enhancements. Also, just like photography, remember there’s some methods to keep things within a “box” where the spaces are even in all sides from the object of focus. Payment ceiling should be around 500-800, depending on how generous the offer is.

You can certainly contact the clients on DevForum considering the deal. However, remember that you cannot unsolicitly advertise around(spam).

Group funds is one of the most common payment routes other than gamepass or dev product. For group funds, the Robux is stored in a group, you join the group and the owner of the group can perform a transaction of Robux to you through that way.

Regarding identifying a scammer, it is not a sure-shot but you can try the following methods:

  • The user is trying to pull a typical scheme.
  • Check the user and retrieve any background as possible. If the background is doubtful, it is likely but not guaranteed.
  • There are probably other topics around DevForum to countering scammers around the platform though.

Usually sending the product first before receiving payment is the safest, or during the process. Anywhere in the process is applicable, but this is subjective depending on many factors. Payment upfront is a powering incentive but is rather risky, considering on how risky it is. Losing the product to nothing is nearly fine, since you can usually DMCA strike the scammer if the product ever surfaced somewhere else on the internet.
