I’m having an issue while building in Roblox Studio. The selection outline around objects is extremely thick and white, witch makes it hard for me to work on smaller details. it’s really affecting my ability to build accurately. I’ll show what I mean with an image.
You can try to fix this by adjusting the Selection Thickness in your Studio settings.
I’m assuming the “thick and white” selecton box is a PrimaryPart
for a model.
Try adjusting the
Line Thickness
to a very small amount, like 0.02
.
There is also another setting which allows you to adjust the selection outline for a BasePart
(the blue outline).
Simply go to File --> Studio Settings --> Studio or Selection
.
The first image is in the Studio
section, and the second image is in the Selection
section. I don’t know why ROBLOX didn’t merge the two.
No its the Join Surfaces I want to change the thickness of that
I don’t think the Join Surfaces
thickness is editable, sorry!
Your best work-around for now is disabling it so your work isn’t being intruded by these thick white outlines.
The only downside is that you have to arbitrarily align parts together so they connect.
^ This is why I use a plugin called F3X
. It allows you to snap vertices together by holding R.
