So I was modifying a gun system I bought online and I found this in one of the scripts it says “Decompiled with the Synapse X Luau decompiler” and I have no idea what that means
Please let me know because I think Synapse X is an exploit engine so I am kinda scared.

I found out that it meant that this model was stolen so someone on clearlydev “HistoricalStudios” scammed me.

Synapse X is a roblox exploit, I won’t pretend to understand how it works but as you said it cant possibly be a good sign, I also don’t get why they would put that code comment there. They are exposing themselves

yes thank you idk they are really stupid to expose themself.
most likely Synapse just put that as free advertising. Like some games that use the Unity game engine say Made With Unity.

synapse had the ability to view any script on the client, and I’m pretty sure this is what they used the decompiler for. Synapse discontinued a while ago, and I wouldn’t guess it can still run on Roblox games. This is an old and stolen script, no idea why he left that on the top.

yeah I was thinking about that, some methods may be obsolete and not work anymore, but if synapse does indeed somehow work, aka the stolen versions, then that’s surprising
Im assuming that model is prob pretty old when synapse was still updated. Also I’m not sure roblox can patch the viewing of local scripts too well. I know synapse can prob fish out more than just localscripts since it is a $20 cheat engine

by scripts on client, I meant any type of script that’s visible on the client, for example a serverscript inside of a tool that the player is holding
