I noticed that I can join my game and stats are added too analytics

So that got me wondering, what gets a game into the recommendation?
What if you got a bunch of friends lets say 10 to idle in your game let’s say a whole night would this effect the discoverability of your game or possibly get it into the recommendation algorithm?

I don’t think so.
Your game would need way more players, around 1-10K to manage to get into the recommendation algorithm, or simply turn your game into a skibidi-toilet simulator or clicking simulator of some sort.

Yeah thats what I was thinking too, because I think the key metrics that get a game into the alogrithm are definitely playtime but also how many players are on the game at a given time

Maybe that could be the case. I’ve been seeing alot of low player count games on the front page lately.

Im not sure exactly how Roblox picks games to recommend. Having friends stay in your game might make it look more popular, but doing this just to boost your game… i think isn’t allowed on ROBLOX. It’s better to focus on making your game fun and building a community of players who enjoy it.
