I was trying UI scale right before this. I don’t know what I did, but I did something and deleted all my games UI. I don’t think I did anything that would cause this, but it somehow happened. I tried to undo everything, but Roblox Studio wouldn’t let me go any further back than a few times. I thought it might be a visual glitch so I closed studio and reopened it, but it’s gone. Is there any way to restore the UI or is it permanently gone? I’ve tried reverting the place, but nothing happens in studio when I click restore.
If you’ve saved it to Roblox and not just to a local file, you can go to Game Settings (under the home tab in Studio) → Places → Click the three dots to the right of the place you need to revert → Version History → Select a version and open it → Copy the UI and paste it into the existing version.
I can only restore, I can’t open the place version. Also, when I press restore, nothing seems to happen. I’ve tried versions before certain changes as well.
Do you have uhh your auto save file? I’ve never really had to revert a game of mines but maybe if it saved midway you could possibly retrieve the UI?
No auto save file that I can find. It’s deleted if all changes are saved, so I only have 8 of them. The most recent one is still old, so I don’t have one of this game.
If you do that in studio, there is an open button that will open the past version in a new studio window without overwriting the published version.
