Theoretically from what I’ve read online a 13 stud jump is possible, but is it really feasible or should we reduce the size? I’m torn what to do with this game (it’s simple and I love it) but will it being too difficult stop it from going anywhere?
Of course I’ve tried, but I think the technique might be beyond me. I’ve seen a lot of videos of 13 stud jumps but maybe the jump physics changed in the last year
My brother and I have got over 300 attempts on the 13 stud jump. There’s a few of us on trying if you want to join us lol
keep it that way since your brother has an easy time with it in-game and also tell him to be nicer next time because he’s being extremely rude for no reason, and increase the respawn time
and change the game image theres no joke its just straight up nsfw obby character
13 stud jumps are possible, and so are 13.1 and 13.2 stud jumps and a little bit higher. They can usually only be done by very good obby players, but it’s not something that is normally used outside of isolated circumstances. So yeah, having 13 stud jumps for an obby is way too hard. Using something like 12.5 stud jumps is a lot more lenient (relatively speaking) and doesn’t require a special technique.
the whole game is about the 13 stud jump so it makes sense for it to be difficult. though tbh i think this post is just for marketing rather than an actual question
Don’t really know much about obbies but i believe there are some sort of “tier” obbies that go for even hours on end i believe. They take hours while implementing some of the weirdest, buggy and tricky jumps imaginable.
No we legit needed good obby players to see if 13 was possible or not, as you saw we had 0 winners (I had over 100 attempts until someone showed me how) anyway now we’ve established it’s possible thanks to everyone that came and hung with us on tile 12
Anyone in the Elite Obbyist community can do a 13 stud jump with no efforts. Ask anyone in the JToH (Jukereise’s Towers of Hell) community or the tiered obby community to demonstrate to you how easy it is for them to perform a 13 stud jump.
We actually went to a few “elite” obby games to get some people to come try it - turns out people talk a lot of nonsense and couldn’t even jump a 12 stud gap
We had someone show up from here who took ~30 tries but finally got it
