I wanna make an aura game, but I don't want it to be like sols rng

I love making auras. its fun and interesting to see what I can make and I wanna try to make a game around it. Problem is that I don’t want it to be like sols rng. I want it to be something cool. I still want some luck based stuff into it, but I can’t come up with anything.

Sword fight game where you challenge people to fight for aura’s and you get coins for each win. Coins being used to open chests for aura’s.

not much ideas i can give you, but you could make an adventure-type game where the player has to find artifacts around very huge maps that give them auras

something like star glitcher perhaps?
auras can be unlocked and equipped by leveling up and have different skills/abilities to fight bosses or other players with
aura skins (same functionality but different looks) can be unlocked as random boss drops or purchased with coins that you get with the same methods as xp
the higher level you get the better auras you can unlock
simple concept but people have taken it really far.

Yeah. I’m gonna make it a LOT more rewarding to play the game and not just afk, like: orbs that give effects(10x luck, 10x roll speed, etc.). Make lore maybe. Cooler pull animations (inspired by cookie run kingdom). And a level system.

Making auras is essentially just being like sols rng, sure you can make them unique but if you’re making auras for characters, everyone will know where it’s from and your game will be viewed as a cashgrab copy. I suggest you expand on your passion towards making auras, while not copying Sol’s and doing some other sort of VFX game. I’ve seen some of your other topics relating to how you want to create an RNG game, and my suggestion to you is to go for it, however, make it unique. Apply your VFX skills towards another aspect of the game, for example, you could make sword effects or death effects. Also, I’d try to stay away from marketing your game as an rng game, as those are dying out quite fast.

No no you are fine! Yeah I came up with an idea that will bring a whole new community into the mix. Everyone has a plot. Cubes fall from the sky and land in your plot, each cube has a rarity and a respective aura. You can put these cubes in a totem to get boosts (each aura has different boosts, also they are tons of different boosts, examples: red luck: increase luck of red auras, evil luck: increase luck of evil themed auras). With these cubes you can trade, collect, and become the richest player. Sadly though I’m not working on it as much as it isn’t my main game I’m working on, but I’m still putting some time into it.
