Roblox Studios Not That Good To Model With. I’d Say That Blenders Pretty Good at Animating and Modeling. But It’s Pretty Easy To Make Things In Roblox Studio. I’d Say Roblox Studios For More Simpler Models And Blenders Made.for More Detailed Models.

Depends on what you need. For highly specific and small/detailed item builds, e.g. a gun, you’d want blender for that. While Roblox can be quicker and good for detail on large-scale projects, however, it is limited without any meshes. I’d highly recommend both above anything else, using both strong-suits that they both supply.

blender has some tools that ROBLOX studio doesn’t have.

It depends on how you want to use the programs, If you want to build simple things like low poly objects then use roblox studio since it has the toolbox. If you want to texture or create something detailed then use blender with it’s variety of tools.

If you want to create small models like any type of tree…you would want to use blender…but if you are working with a large project…I would suggest Roblox studio…

I think that if you know Blender well, honestly just stick to Blender. If you are committed to transitioning all of your assets to Studio, then it can give it a really unique look. But it is certainly a ton more work.

Personally, I largely use Studio and on occassion use Blender to lower triangle counts in, for example, complex unions that slow down my game. I just don’t have the ability to commit to using Blender all the time as it definitely slows down your workflow.

Roblox Studio was not created for modeling.
Blender was, so it has way more tools and tutorial support than roblox studio could ever hope for in that subject.
You also have more control over things like model performance.

Hey, first of all welcome to DevForum! I’ve been using ROBLOX Studio for over 3 years as a Builder, and it was pretty simple to work with. In a few weeks I could make large models within minutes and everything was very instinctive. However, with ROBLOX Studio you can only add so much detail without resulting in lag and gaps. So, if you’re a Developer who will be focusing on more simple games I suggest the Studio, and if it’s detail and complex shapes you’re looking for then Blender is definitely the way to go. Good luck!
