I’m bringing this issue to the forum because the Appeals Team has completely ignored the evidence I provided and seems to have blindly followed a result generated by an automated system.
Here’s the situation:
On 06/04/25, my account was permanently banned for child exploitation after an update was made to a test place that I used to have access to as a developer for in-game features. However, I left that development group 3–4 months ago, and I no longer had any permissions or role there at the time of the incident.
It seems I was held responsible only because I originally created the place on 08/12/24. The violation, however, happened much later.
On May 18, a user maliciously changed the name of that place to something that violates Roblox’s child safety policies. This was part of a toxic rivalry between military roleplay groups, where some individuals were trying to get others banned to eliminate competition.
After this happened, both the group owner and the user who changed the place name were banned. However, the group owner successfully appealed, explaining that they weren’t responsible for the content change. Roblox understood it was a misuse and lifted the ban on the group owner.
Unfortunately, and I still don’t know how, the same place received an update on 06/04/25 at 12:21 PM, which then triggered a ban on my account. I wasn’t even aware of it until a day later because I haven’t been very active on Roblox recently.
I contacted Support and explained that I did not perform any recent actions, edits, or updates to that place, and I haven’t been one of its developers for months. I made it clear that I had nothing to do with what caused the ban. Sadly, the Appeals Team dismissed everything I said and told me the decision would not be reversed.
I’ll provide all the evidence below, and I will censor the altered place name to avoid violating community guidelines.
If there is anyone here who can help, or knows someone at Roblox who can look at this fairly, I would deeply appreciate it. I don’t want to lose an account I’ve spent years and money on, especially over something I had no part in.
