I would like to have feedback about my creation

Good day gfx makers, today I have one request from you: please rate my design for the game which I didn’t start developing on a scale from 0-10. And why you decided to rate me so and what I should fix.
Please use some kind of common sense for this rating.

This is how it looks like icon for game.

I would give the image a 7.5/10. I love the vibe of the image, very welcoming, and the avatar is not using bones to pose the avatar, which I endorse. But the hat and avatar does not have a balanced lighting within the whole image(the hat is basically too bright and the avatar is too darkened), the black outline of the character is not in perfect position with the character, and the abbreviates in “Fire Simulator”(“Fire Sim”) is rather lazy-looking. I love your idea, but there are things that needs improvement to make me, and others love it even more.

I really like it! It looks very nice. But you should have it say Fire Simulator instead of sim and also the top part of fire is cut out. Also the colon looks slightly odd in the image. Otherwise it looks great I love the render.

Hello, I am a graphic designer, and I specialize in Logo Design. I love the concept there are a few things I’d suggest looking at.

First off, great work on the textures and reflections on the helmet. But the bump map is a little too high the shirt is overly bumpy in my opinion.

Also, I suggest learning lighting in C4D (assuming this was done in C4D) the render was done pretty well but I think better lighting would seriously seal the render into perfection.

The black border around the character is uneven and I think it’s an unnecessary addition to it and it’d look equally as good without.

For the logo, I suggest googling a Fire Department logo (or there are sites with like Fire badges that you can add your text too) and making it a lot more appealing for the viewer. Also, I highly don’t recommend using solid black and white. I’d use a light gray and dark gray as it’s nicer to look like.

Overall I love the render and the idea. And I hope to see more amazing work from you. And can’t see how it ends up looking good luck!

I love this gfx! But you could change the persons outfit and instead of sim, simulator.

I was doing this work in Blender. And yes I am kind of unhappy with that lighting and refrection on helmet,
As you can see there are some shadows which shouldn’t be there or places which are brighter than others, I kind of choosed bad helmet for this gfx.

Play around with lighting a bit, but really nice!

Lighting is a complicated and takes a lot of trial and error to get right. Can’t wait to see more of your work in the future. Don’t bring yourself down just got to keep trying till you get something you are happy with!

I would try to keep an even outline around your character and change the Sim to Simulator. Also, adding a pose to the character makes it look a bit more “alive”. Overall, If I would see this icon I wouldn’t be that excited. I rate this, in my opinion: 6.5/10 (No offence)
