ID = 142: Network protocol mismatch breaks all servers

I’ve suddenly gotten a lot of messages today about my game not working, and as was posted earlier, this shows up:

But this isn’t on a server-to-server basis as believed. My whole game has shut down and I don’t know what to do. I’m pretty sure I did not cause this, because I haven’t updated the game in a month and it has worked fine until today. At this point I have no idea what to do except to try to calm down the players. Does anyone else experience this?

0 visits the last couple of hours, and if this keeps up, I won’t know how to cope. This will likely have a huge influence on my game’s income :frowning:

I’m considering using the emergency roblox mail for this.

Have you tried shutting down all servers use the shut down all feature?

Thanks that fixes the problem. Does this mean that the outdated servers simply don’t shut down, and all the players were getting directed there?
Might be a problem for developers that aren’t here to read that… :worried:

It sounds like one of your servers decided not to shut down when all the players left and the matchmaker kept trying to put players in it. I don’t think anyone else is having this issue. No missing player counts etc.
