I'd Like Some Feedback & Tips on my "Find The" Game

image

Hello!

It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted, so hopefully this is in the right place. I recently started working on a game called “Find The Puppies!”, which some of you may have seen similar games like it before. Most notably, Find The Markers, Find The Doggos, Find The Pandas, etc. The genre has died out overtime, but it hasn’t stopped me from wanting to make a successful and nice-looking game. I have made a “Find The” game before, but it’s not something I’m very proud of to say the least. With Find The Puppies, I’m putting everything I’ve got into smaller details and making sure every part of the map is appealing to the eyes, and is immersive. With that, I’ll leave you to the link of the game, however there is also a group I created awhile back.

If you’d like, feel free to join the game to check it out! If you haven’t played any “Find The” games before, it basically involves players doing a scavenger hunt across an open world where they can collect various badges that range in difficulty.

On the broader side of things, I’d love to know if any other game developers out there have any tips for attracting visitors, and overall having a more successful game.

Note: The current thumbnail and icons are just there as baseplates and I already have better ones in the works. FTP is also a solo creation, but I’ve been using free models as needed of course.

Hey, the first thing I noticed is the high quality of the map. I have a question though, are the pu0;

Thank you! That was goal since I want the map to look nice. I’m not sure what you mean by the question though.

I don’t know what happened there. I have forgotten the question I wanted to ask by now…
