ID Verification Not Working

So I have been trying to verify my ID on Roblox, but I have not been able to. I’ve been using my driver’s license but since I only have my probationary, the license is vertical. I am not sure if this is a possible issue because it still has my name, birthdate, and ID photo. What should I do? It fails every time and I do not have any of the other options to verify.

Well, I used a vertically printed license to register and it worked regardless. You should take a picture of it sideways and it should still work as long as the entire card is in the picture and somewhat lines up with the overlapping image.

I have tried this every time I have attempted verifying but it still doesn’t take it.

Is it clearly visible in the image and does the ID show everything it needs to?

Yep. It has my DOB, government name, picture, address, etc. Is there anything else it needs?

I would not know if it needs to show anything else on it. All I can suggest is trying again in a different location or with a different background.

It might not be a detected ID such as my personal ID from Canada.

It is considered a drivers license though so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be considered valid ID. In the US atleast, a drivers license is valid identification and it is an option during the verification process so I’d assume it would work. Also as previously mentioned a vertical license was used to verify. As of now I am still looking for a solution so if anyone else has any suggestions I’d be glad to hear them.

I feel like it is a hardware or software issue.

Try the following:

  • Use a different camera, assuming it is a webcam.
  • Try using different lighting.
  • Try using the OBS virtual camera to adjust the colors, like saturation, and contrast.

I have not verified using any government-issued verification methods, so this might not be relevant.

Tried again today after not being able to upload my own game anymore. Still does not work after 5 months. Not sure what to do at this point, I don’t really have any other convenient forms of identification to use for this. Also, I’ve been scanning the QR code on my phone and continuing there. Is there any kind of support email I can use?
