Ideas for electrical components

I’m currently sewing together an amalgamation of a few systems I’ve made in the past and decided to make a whole game out of and as a smaller side project and I’m deciding to make it a zombie like game where players attempt to struggle through hordes of nocturnal zombies and have the whole day time to: Get food, work on a base, collect materials/weapons, etc.

Given all the background information I’m in the middle of making an electrical system that should allow people to make contraptions like a simple light switch or a complex draw bridge.

What electrical components do I add to the game?
I already have servos, motors, lights, batteries, pressure plates, buttons and levers (wires too if you would counts that). What more can I add?

I plan on a complex farming system to the game too should there be any components that interlock with the whole farming side? if so what?

(I’m not going to add pistons as I’ve spent ages looking at how to make them 100 percent reliable and I’m not going to add any type of sentry as I want to retain a lot of realism)

This is what I have so far:

(Ignore the lever freaking out when its in my hand I already fixed that)

Automatic doors, auto-crafters and lasers for example

oo I like the idea of lasers it could be a really good end game defence that consumes a lot of energy, automatic doors can be made with a combination of pressure plates and servos though, the games crafting system is yet to be fully made but that’s got me thinking about a a lot of utilities like drills and saws

Would be cool if you could make simple laser activated turrets with any gun! That way you could have a use for extra guns you weren’t using (would probally require a lot of ammo though)

Also if you plan on making batteries run out, maybe some solar panels would be cool?
