What are you attempting to achieve? (Keep it simple and clear):
I want a car game with a world map, but a big world map. -
What is the issue? (Keep it simple and clear - Include screenshots/videos/GIFs if possible)
The issue is that parts can’t be sized more than 2048. So 2048 for 1 country is way too small. -
What solutions have you tried so far? (Have you searched for solutions through the Roblox Wiki yet?)
I’ve tried importing a special mesh with the shape of 1 country and change it’s Scale property to make it big. But you fall through it.
You can just use multiple of these parts and place them in a grid to create a big map.
I tried to do that already. Its kind of confusing. I thought of cloning a client-sided baseplate to ur feet. While you’re in touch with the mesh. But thanks for responding!
I’ll try to redo the map with the grid idea tho.
Why is that confusing? You just move a part.
Cause its like making the world map is my idea. And per example I also want cities so I need to calculate in grid everything. Including the size per baseplate etc.
I was doing that before, but I’m trying to find a simpler way to do it and more effective.
