Ideas for Monsters?

I’m making a game where you adventure underground in caves to defeat the evil serpent. I don’t have ideas for monsters, I’ve only come up with a few. The style is 8 bit, so can you help me with ideas?

For a weak monster, maybe use a goblin

Yeah! That’s actually a good idea! Do you have any other ideas?

Not really, but glad I could contribute

mybe i can give you song ideas

I don’t really have any robux, but okay! I mean, assuming you mean making a song.

sorry im not a composer but is it okay if you put mdk - press start as like a boss battle im also thinking of other songs lol

like mybe for dark and scary and cavern stuff but for the only bgm i can think of is pokemon lavander town

You could maybe try ~
A monster that blends in with the wall, only noticeable when it begins to move.
A monster that attempts to grab players from a gap or crack in the walls, if they get too close.
A monster that drags players into dark corridors and respawns them somewhere random.

Probably not the best ideas, I know.

If you need ideas for weaker monsters, I would recommend doing something like miners or goblins, however for stronger monsters you could do something like Golems.

maybe like a goblin, but with a stone texture that matches the cave walls slapped on it. It would be a really cool camo monster, and i havent seen any other dungeon crawler games that implemented a monster like that.

I’m planning to make the camo monster a crystal chameleon.

A massive, terrifying, parasitic monster with hundreds of eyes and gross arms, with a long tongue. It can change it’s arms (I.E. from a hand into a sharp spear-like fist).
