The title is pretty self-explanatory. I need ideas for enemies and towers for my tower defense game. I already have a few, but I really need some creative ideas to help my game stand out. Thanks!
What about an enemy that sometimes drop a lure that has a lot of life but not speed nor damage, and just make low level towers focus on it? I’m not a big player of tower defense games but I hope you’ll like my idea.
Also, what about a tower that lowers the enemies speed? I’m not sure if these ideas are already made but at least I’m trying.

idk if this is going to be in line with what you’re making but : a TD game where you can teleport towers and you can place a limited amount of towers
every towers have different way of interact with enemies
example: a cannon tower will bury the enemy that it hit underground but the other towers won’t shoot the buried enemy (if the enemy is a boss then the cannonball will slow it down instead)
but different towers can have a similar interaction with enemies too
EX: a slime shooting tower can slow down bosses but cannon towers can too
so that there would be different way to play this game to increase the replayability of the game
you can sell your tower but it will give back less money so that it would encourage players to choose towers carefully
and the maps will expand upward or downward when a wave passed so teleporting towers would be a the most viable method.
