Ideas for what to add to my small build

Hello

I am attempting to build a small build, well, not really that much of one at the moment.

I would like some ideas of what to add to my small building.
Go crazy with ideas.

I’m not sure what this is but you should use textures instead of roblox’s materials.
It looks like a bar so… shelves and bottles? Tables? Cameras? Make it a shed with boxes and other shed items?

Not bad but do you mind adding more information into your thread on what your trying to go for, are you wanting specific ideas on what to add just inside the building?

This isn’t really a “showcase” from my point of view at the moment, since not much content is put into the scene. If you’re focusing on what to add around the exterior/interior you can add just about anything that fits the design you’re going for a variety of different building types, to add more depth add small props. I’m not even sure if you’re going for a town area or just one building with cars out in the front entrance.

The place looks a little stiff if you’re going for a sort of stained building look add lighting, litter on the ground to give it a more detailed view things to spice up the scene. There’s many ways to improve the quality of your unfinished showcase whether you’re wanting a more realistic option or something with two separate styles I would try gathering reference images and see what you want your showcase to feature whether it’s a town or a corner street store.

What build stereotype are you trying to achieve? A modern build, or low poly build?

No harsh feelings intended, however it seems too bland and it gets boring to look at easily.

Judging on inside of the structure, it looks too off-setting - it does not put the audience into the mood of realism that you have put into the structure itself. I recommend you to add small loose bricks on the side of the walls, or just generally random placed items scattered across the ground.

Additionally, If you are going for a modern designed build, I highly recommend to look at references of bars, shacks, or whatever you are trying to build. It generally gives a basic concept of what the structure is based off of, and what you can improve to make it look like the real thing.

Secondly, the outside design; it seems too boring, and unfinished. I suggest try to add some patterning/textures on the outside of the walls as it’ll showcase an interesting modern build! However, do NOT crowd too many places with the same texture(s), as it seems to be over-used and unsatisfying. Here’s a planning sheet to help you improve that:

Lastly, try using different textures instead of the ones ROBLOX has provided for us developers in the studio. Instead, look up some decals in the ROBLOX library; this will add new textures that will help bring realism to your modern builds. Not only adding different pattern varieties to your house, it would also be wow-worthy to the audience playing your game.

As stated in the beginning of this comment, there’s no harsh feelings intended within this message. I severely apologize if this criticism is too harsh.

Best regards,
