Ideas on getting D1 and D7 retention on my game

I want to make sure my game gets some active players daily (like 10 or a bit more) so that they can play it and let the game be known.

The problem is that even though I have updated it today, it only has ~180 views and no active playes but me (I’m the only frequent player of it) and I seriously want to know how could I make sure the game gets atleast ~6 visits per day without using bots and me not joining multiple times (bassically some frequent players)

Also, if needed, here’s the game link: https://www.roblox.com/share?code=76a5b0639c46084088b672351430c072&type=ExperienceDetails&stamp=1740755704849

If there’s something I can do, please tell me.

Just had a test on Mobile, the music on/off button doesn’t seem to turn anything on or off plus there’s 2 music buttons to pick from maybe 3 if it shows one at the top as well on PC (it won’t let me join on PC atm) and the health GUI the green part of it isn’t lined up with the black background of it on mobile for me it’s coming out of it on the right hand side. I can’t get into on PC it keeps me stuck on loading server sorry. UI is hard ha I’ve been trying to improve on that myself recently but I’ve learnt if you insert a UIListLayout into the screen Gui of your health Gui then set the properties of the UIListLayout HorizontalAlignment to the Left and the VerticalAlignment to centre this should neaten it up after you’ve messed around with it  I can imagine a lot of people like the Baldi game and is searched quite a lot you’ll get people coming across it over time if you give them daily rewards for coming back this might help start things off for you, hope this helps!

Thanks for trying it and telling your experience. Anyways, about the health display GUI, I already know how can I fix it. And for the music button not working, I should search up for a topic explaining how to fix its uselessness. So if there’s more problems, please tell me. I might update the game and fix those two problems. Thanks.

Thanks for your suggestion. I highly appreciate that, but if you could explain how it works then I would modify it to adaptate it to the game, which I would prefer a bit more. Thanks.

Hang on, I think the problem you’re having might be why I changed mine 1 min just checking if my old version of what you’re using works or not

Sorry I can’t explain how to fix your problem without looking at your file to see what the issue is exactly with how my brain works/logical thinking I’m opposite to you just trying to help with what I can when I notice things on here ha. I had a good go myself on my old file but the problems I had same as yours appeared for like a second which is strange because I had same issue as you the more I think about it. The more I tested on my old file using the same version your using it seemed to work after a few tests it seemed more of a chance situation tho as I know my music in that file stops randomly/doesn’t play at all when it should and was a common issue reported in mine like yours did and couldn’t fix it/can’t explain it still even after looking at the same version in my old file it should work but sometimes it doesn’t. My old version using this just worked in studio but not when you actually play it on the website. For some reason mine is working now every time I test (when it never use to like yours ) when moved to sss which is interesting because for me this always only worked in the workspace until today. Maybe your issue is just the sound ID not working or needs moved to the correct place not sure?

So if I send you images about the music toggle button and its script you might be able to solve that problem?
