If I create a ugc thats based on a gear, can it get taken down?

I want to create a ugc that has to do with a gear, what I’m wondering is that if it is a gear, can it still get taken down for imitating a limited/high-value item?

I don’t know if I do make it that if it will get taken down because again it would be reuploading a limited/high-value item.

I tried to look on the devforum for help but I couldn’t really find any since its a pretty narrow topic.

I feel like it would be fine because you cant really wear gears on your avatar ingame, but I am still not too sure so that is why I am asking here.

I’m sure if its not directly stolen from Roblox that it’ll be fine, but not I’m 100%.

If you’re uploading it 1:1 with no changes whatsoever to the mesh or texture, then yes it will almost definitely get taken down. If I may ask, what gear is it? I’d also say that the likelihood of it being taken down increases depending on how popular and/or well known the item is.

Yes, that would definitely get taken down if you’re uploading it on its own.

Depends on how much you change, for a sfoth sword you’d definitely need to do a lot of vigorous changes to it if it’s the main aspect of the accessory you’re hoping to upload.
