I want roblox to not lag with having steam on my Asus laptop.
Lag with steam.
Deleted steam and roblox worked fine just small lag spikes.
Ok. So. This is an issue with the fact that Steam runs every time you turn on your computer.
Most Game Stores/Launchers do this.
What you need to do, is to go pen the software called Task Manager.
Scroll down the list until you find Steam.
Click on Steam, and select “End Task”.
This will end it in the background and free up system resources.
There also should be a list of Startup Apps in Task Manager.
You can remove Steam off of this list.
Just know that it won’t automatically start updating whenever you first turn on your computer.

You can still have Steam with the method I described.
All what I said does is turn it off.
The lag issue is because Steam is constantly running in the background of your computer, where you cannot see it.
That’s why it stopped lagging whenever you uninstalled it.
Because it wasn’t running in the background anymore.
So turning it off using Task Manager will allow you to keep it, and not have the same lag. 
And removing it from the Startup Launch List (or whatever it’s called) will keep it from lagging your computer whenever you turn it on.
Could actually make your computer turn on quicker.

It might be the steam overlay. Try disabling that.
