It depends on the context the Japanese word is used in.
If it’s being used as the old/outdated meaning of ‘Hail’, it’s fine. But if you plan to pair that with anything WW2-related, it could easily be flagged as inappropriate.
However, if you’re using a more modern and commonly used meaning for it like ‘Yay!’ or ‘We did it!’, then I think it is fine, even with a more serious theming such as a war game.
