Innovation Inc. Thermal Power Plant Quality of Life Update

    • Remade Military Announcement System for the Outbreak Event
  • Safeguard chance rebalances
    • Old safeguard system relies on time passed. This has been changed to rely on temperature.
    • Stage 1: 3500K - 3850K → 100% success
    • Stage 2: 3850K - 4200K → (Nerfed from 80% → 75% Success)
    • Stage 3: 4200K - 4500K → (Nerfed from 50% → 40% Success)
  • Shutdown chance rebalances
    • It can now occur multiple times instead of just an instant fail on the second shutdown. Shutdown with a safeguard will still result in a fail.
    • 1st shutdown: Buffed from 50% → 75% Success Rate
    • 2nd shutdown and onwards: Success rate will be halved each time until it reaches 10%, where it bottoms out and stays at 10%.

  • New signage system across the facility
  • APHES can now be taken off (no more superglue!) (By GGshor)
  • Coffee tool is now drinkable!
  • Ladder added to core access elevator
  • 9 new posters

      • Walk speed decreases from 18 → 14

Disinfector and Zombie Rebalance
  • All bullet sizes increased from 0.1 → 0.25

  • New default reloading SFX for all guns (no longer a microwave)

  • Pistol reload time reduced from 4 → 3

  • Pistol bullet spread reduced from 1.5 → 0.5

  • SMG reload time reduced from 4 → 3

  • SMG ammo count increased from 20 → 25

  • SMG fire rate decreased from -0.03 → -0.04

  • SMG damage reduced from 8 → 6

  • SMG spread slightly increased

  • Shotgun spread increased from 3.5 → 4.5

  • Shotgun damage increased from 10 → 11

  • Sniper click delay removed

  • Sniper spread completely removed

  • Sniper ammo count increased from 3 → 4

  • Sniper bullet speed increased from 1000 → 1500

  • Sniper bullet size increased from 0.1 → 0.3

  • Sniper bullet trail increased from 100

  • Sniper fire rate decreased from -0.05 → -0.07

  • Assault rifle damage increased from 4 → 7

  • Assault rifle fire rate decreased from -0.05 → -0.07

  • Assault rifle reload time increased from 4 → 5

  • New assault rifle fire SFX

  • Minigun charge time increased from 1.75 → 2.5

  • Minigun ammo count increased from 250 - > 275

  • New Minigun reload SFX

  • New Minigun fire SFX

  • As a partially infected human, the decay rate of infection is increased from 1 → 2

  • Zombie jump power reduced from 40 → 38

  • Zombies can no longer activate turrets

  • Zombies can no longer use the mutator

Magma Renewal Update | 29/6/2024

Note: Due to the large amount of content added in the Thermal Generators Update, and with more still planned, the team has decided to release a portion of it separately as the Magma Renewal Update. We offer this update as a small apology for the past year of inactivity.

  • Rising Magma Event Renewal

    • No longer automatic, the event requires player interaction to activate the draining systems
    • Similar to/replaces the current Fire Event mechanics. The Thermal Gens Update will introduce a much more interactive style of fire suppression gameplay
    • New ASAS voice lines and SFXs
  • Topside Reception Revamp

  • Warhead Event Revamp

    • Features a redesign of the warhead hallways and control room by Borobushe
    • The laser hallway and the new waste processing room is now randomised. Five different obbys available!
    • Small changes to ASAS lines, and SFX
