IK button disappears on r15 rig forever and exhibits strange behavior after clicking off the animation editor

Essentially, I am starting an animation in the animation editor, I select my rig (base inserted r15) and start to get to work. At some point after working on it for a little bit, I accidentally click off, or click something else, and immediately it’s like the rig breaks. When I go back to it, there is no longer the IK button, and I can no longer select the hip. Moving the upper torso now moves the hip. The only way I have been able to fix it myself is by importing a new r15 altogether and starting over.

I am mostly a blender animator but for a project I am having to resort to the roblox animation editor. Honestly, I was probably just being stupid and missing something, but I would love to hear what anyone has to say about it.

Thank you!

do you have a video or screenshots of the issue?

What do you mean by click-off? Like click off the rig, click off the animation editor, or like click off Roblox studio entirely?

When I’m in the animation editor I cannot click anything else unless its a rig, and even when I do, I can just click back on my previous one to get it back.

Does your r 15 rig have more than just the r 15 parts?

If the torso moves the hip… do you think you might have somehow converted your r15 right to an r6? r6 rigs don’t have hips or an IK button.
