[IK] Inverse Kinematics - "Look at" Direction facing the wrong way

I’m using IK control and it is set to “Look at”
Problem is the face isn’t looking at the part in the right direction
How do I fix this?

if this is a custom rig are you sure the “front” of the head is actually the face?

It’s due to your model. Use this property that is very much visable:

Try using Z orientation, -90 or 90.

I tried it and nothing happened
I tried the position property too, but it disabled the “Look at” mechanic

Hm… One thing you could do is add a motor6d with a part to the head and use the head and the chainroot and the new part as the end effector. Then you can probably make it work.

The custom rig is rigged with bones

I noticed that there’s something wrong on the bone’s positioning but still, it’s looking at the part in the wrong direction too

look at the bone and the part closely.

Solved it.

Add a Attachment to the head bone
Rotate attachment to the forward position as roblox defaults that position to for “Look at” IK Control Type
Make the Attachment the End Effector and the Chain Root
