I’m not sure how you can reproduce this bug, as I’m not sure how it’s occurring currently. But basically, I have a development place for Berry Avenue (Berry Avenue 🏠 RP - Roblox) and in that place I use IKControl for car steering wheels and multiple tools. This works perfectly in that development place (BA Staging 1 - Roblox), but in the main game which is an exact copy published from the development place, the IKControl has no effect at all even though it is setup the exact same way. I have tried recreating this issue but I cannot, it only seems to not work in the main game of Berry Avenue.
Expected Behavior
When enabling a IKControl it should have an effect on the character
This is what happens in the main place, it’s the exact same as the development place (published from development place to main place) however as you can see the IKControl has no effect on the character at all

Hi, we have temporarily disabled IKControls in a few experiences because they were causing crashes on clients in certain situations. We’re working on a fix and will re-enable them as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The crash was fixed in the latest version (released yesterday). We’ve re-enabled IKControls for Mac and PC players, and will re-enable for mobile and other clients once they’ve all been updated to the latest version
Unfortunately the latest release was rolled back, causing the crash to reappear. So I’ve disabled IKControl on the affected places once more . We’ll re-enable it as soon as soon as we can
IKControl has been re-enabled everywhere now, this may be a different bug. Do you have any other details you can share? Did this start happening recently or has it been going on for a while?
Apparently it’s been happening for a bit. About a week ago a player approached me saying their client crashes completely when my monster goes into its frenzy state. For context, when it goes into this state, it activates its arms which use IKControls.
This was weird to me because I wasn’t getting any crashes when I play tested in the dev universe (completely identical to the live game which crashes).
Hi @Locard - I’m closing this topic as it appears the original bug reported has been resolved. Please file a new bug report and we’d be happy to look into this!
