I'm getting reports of random shutdowns in the comments and group wall

My game

No idea why it’s happening, I haven’t made any updates in days and haven’t shutdown a server myself in weeks. I also have no function that attempts to shutdown a server for whatever reason. Any idea why this might be? All non-lobby servers are reserve servers(also been getting reports(and experienced this) of only 4/5 out of 6 players showing up in a new reserve server. Could be people closing the window before they get teleported, but it’s been pretty consistent)

I noticed this error, last night/early this morning, but i haven’t seen it since.

I got the same thing last night as well- yesterday was Wednesday so maybe they were tampering with some stuff. I use teleportation in my game as well.

Actually, I am still getting this issue. I’m losing a lot of players and people are disliking the game. Here’s the place.

Roblox was undergoing maintenance last night and that was causing connection problems. I would guess that this is what they are talking about.

Do you have any more information about this? I tried to repro it, but couldn’t get into any game. Does the client shutdown?

Haven’t experienced myself yet, but the reports are saying it happens midway through a game. Some are suggesting it’s an exploiter going around shutting it down, but I have no proof of it and it’s likely incorrect.

Errr, I’m trying to release an update to both the lobby and gameplace and it says the upload is successful but the updated value on both places remains at 5/25/2016

EDIT: OK something is very wrong. Here’s a rundown of what I’m experiencing:

  • Copious amounts of 429 and 503 errors with no apparent cause behind it. Everything from Datastores to MarketplaceService to HTTPService is erroring out despite the load being placed on the server.
  • Client > Server input takes forever to actually go through
  • Random shutdowns
  • People are reporting that “Player joined” messages are being sent 4x when someone manages to make it into the game. This is using the SetCore functionality.
  • Either I can’t publish games to the site, or the site is ignoring the newest version when I go to join a game
  • This…?

Had servers shutdown yesterday, especially new ones.
Right now it takes alot of time to start studio servers… Maybe someone DDOSing the system or something?

Everyone else left within a second. The server was created seconds ago. This might be what people are talking about, but I’ve never seen this error.

I’m having same issue at my game, in pretty much every server, where each server seems to be kicking specific users while allowing others, one player said he tried to join a specific Reserved server 10+ times, and it kicked him every time, while I was able to join it first try. Also another user was able to join that server first try too while he said he was being Kicked from other servers.

I get the same Blue messages as Alkan posted, for each player that gets disconnected.

Any comments from admins? This is killing my profits, I don’t know about anyone else’s games.

I’ve been having the same issue with my game since last night. From what I can tell, after teleporting to another place in my games universe, players tend to lose connection seconds after spawning. It happens more frequently when the server that is being teleported to already has 3-5+ players. Usually the first couple players are able to make it into the game just fine. Not sure why the additional players being teleported to my servers are losing connection.

Not sure if related, but two servers at one of my games both spontaneously shut down at the same time.

And I am having trouble connecting to Team Create.

I’m having intermittent data store failures, occasional failures to check for asset ownership, and a large number of failures from the text filter api endpoint.

My issue is resolved, and supposedly some of my friends say they can connect to @Baumz hockey game.

nope people are still disconnecting, not to mention the Website is super slow.

There are probably multiple issues. I think the players getting disconnected will be fixed “soon”. The website being slow and some of the web api issues I’m not sure about, but they appear to be a high priority.
