Hello, I am looking for developers that are capable to build and script. Payment can be discussed cause I don’t have it in-hand.
My game is a war game and I need a hand on this. To contact me you can talk me via discord or twitter, I’ll send you my discord tag if interested! I hope to see people offering their selves to help me!
Don’t wanna be rude but there’s some issues with this recruitment post:
Basically no information about the game. A “war game” is all we’re given. What kind of war game? Is it gonna be a simulator? FPS? Group fort? If the third, do you want longtime devs? Detail is key. We want to know what we’re working on before we start, so we can gauge if it’s in our skillset or if we have the time for it.
You absolutely need to give a clear amount of payment on the post itself. Be as transparent as possible. No dev is gonna waste their time DMing you about payment and waiting for a reply; we want the concise numbers. For example: Billy is making a dev recruitment post, for payment he puts “Will be a lot, discuss more in DMs!”. Jimmothy is also making a dev recruitment post, for payment he puts “Builders will be paid 15k robux directly after the game’s release, and will earn 15% of the game’s revenue for 12 months after release. Scripters will be paid 25k robux directly after the game’s release, and will earn 20% of the game’s revenue for 12 months after release. Prices are negotiable, but neither will be paid more than 40k.” Who do you think is gonna get offers?
Contacts. You need, NEED to put your contacts down in your post. Again, no dev is gonna waste their time asking all these stupid questions in DMs, then discord or twitter or wherever, when literally all of them can be answered in 30 seconds by just typing them out in your post.
These are the current steps a developer needs to work for you:
-DM you or reply here to get your contact information
-Ask you in the second platform about the game’s concept
-Ask again about the game’s payment
All of which takes a lot longer than if you just write down your stuff in the post to begin with.
Again, don’t wanna be rude, but this is the reality.
Alright, it’s a WW2 FPS GAME, Stalingrad battle to be more exact (idk if it is against roblox tos but I seen games about it). I just need devs to build and script, the max time I would ask for is 2 months. Payment can be 100 R$ to Higher, will be distributed by group funds. I am a first time recruiter and basically it would be nice to have a developing team to help me on.
Discord is DemocraticJuan#3674.
Scripters mustn’t have advanced LUA skills but basically if you can do what I ask, which I think it’s not really that hard if you know about LUA coding, you’re good to help.
Builders, must have good building skills for a low poly, We will do a big map so we will kinda use low-poly, this low-poly wont be that animated since I ask for little of details at games.
That’s basically all of the information I can give. Salutations!
Only 100R$? That’s like impossibly low, as in no one would bother to work 2 months for that much. Like, I would take $100 robux for an hour of work.
To inform you, the standard payment of builders is usually 10k-30k for a well built game. The high quality ones can go much higher. Scripters are usually 40k-60k, same rule applies.
I don’t think developers ask for that much, already had past experiences. btw, we can distribute profits from gamepasses! If so, the R$ Would be distributed by gamepasses if I am not wrong. I wanna also add that I don’t want the best of the best, I am good with simple buildings, already built detailed things but I mean, I can’t pay that amount because as I said I don’t have payment in-hand. and won’t ever reach to that amount of R$.
Hi, I will mostly build on this. I mostly need scripters. One of my friends is working with terrain, and I will be working on building, we just need scripters and people who can give me a hand building!
My role is the ‘‘game director’’, I am the game owner!
No, that’s what devs ask for. If you want a good dev, that’s what you’re paying. Those are the prices of your everyday good developer. Are you doing anything other than creative direction?
