I click add places and this thing pops up, but it says “Cannot choose start places” under each one. Why does it say that? I’m not trying to add those places as start places, I’m trying to add them as other places.
I frankly don’t know why this happens in the website, but you can easily add new places to your game universe in the game explorer of studio; however, it just creates new places, so if you’ve made some places intended to be subordinates to your game universe already, you’ll have to port it to the new place
Enable the Game Explorer in the View tab > RIght Click “Places” > Add New Place

Thanks, I’m planning on making it teleport you to this other place when you do something in the starter place. Should I make this other place that you can only get to through the main place public or private? (Sorry, I don’t have much experience with places)
It should be public, otherwise you can’t teleport to it. You can’t teleport to the subordinate places directly, you’ll have to go through the starter place first – if a person manages to get to the page of the subordinate place on the website and play that, it’ll just teleport them to the starter place instead
