Hey everyone, I just finished making this house, and I’m (slightly?) proud of it. It’s the best I’ve done, but I feel demotivated comparing it to other builds.
Remember, its a work in progress, still working on everything. Some stuff isn’t textured.
I also need help on the windows, what should I fill the glass area with? Curtains?

first off, the colors need more life, when you add the colors it would look lively and seem like it has a lot of detail, you could add flower window pot, some chairs with a table outside, and extend the roof a little bit on each side as well.
looks really good so far!
What colors should I use? ![ ](https://doy2mn9upadnk.cloudfront.net/images/emoji/twitter/smiley.png?v=12)
Thanks SO much for the feedback!
Use bright, beachy colors. Warm, sandy yellows. Bright, aqua blues. Think of the beach, what colors come to mind? Use those.
Really depends on what you want but I can recommend you something to get an idea
if you’re going to an older look maybe go for like light shade of blue for the wood siding, for the roof you could go for a darker greyish blue, those wood beams on the side and on the bottom of the house you could make them white.
really experiment and mess around colors till you find something that looks good

Roof is quite high maybe fix that up?
This isn’t a vacation beach, its a foggy, cold, dark beach for fishing
That was intentional. I wanted to add a cartoony feel, like a Pixar movie with awkward portions and semi realistic textures.
alrighty, then perhaps some loose roof bricks hanging off or on the floor?
In that case, use dark stony colors and a dark wood framing that looks a bit corroded.
