Roblox auto-ban system is scary. Whenever I make a mannequin model and upload it on to Roblox, I immediately get a warning saying " Sexual Content & Nudity " & This gets me concerned about my clients who want Homestore. I use the mannequins that I made in their Homestore builds, And I’m concerned about them and myself that might get a warning or terminated…
Any suggestions regarding this? how can I avoid getting warned next time?
If your mannequin is a solid color (whether this be an avatar or a mesh) it will be rejected on the grounds of nudity.
To avoid being warned in future you should only upload content you’re certain abides by the Community Rules. If you think your content has been moderated incorrectly then you should use the Roblox Support form to submit an appeal (Moderation > Appeal Account or Content).
I’d also like to point out that there is no such thing as ‘auto-ban’. Roblox’s automation has nothing to do with moderating users; you will only ever be moderated by human moderators.
Assuming you’re referring to the solid color avatar rule, I’m not sure why you would need to upload an avatar when you can create one in Studio and avoid submitting content to the moderation queue.
The most efficient way to create a mannequin would be to create a rig using the rig builder under the plugins tab and apply clothing from there.
You can use the EasyInsert plugin to easily ‘decorate’ your mannequins. All you need to do is select the rig and paste the asset ID of any Avatar Shop item (including clothing) into the plugin’s interface.
If you’re referring to a custom-made mannequin which needs to be imported as a mesh, you just need to ensure it isn’t a single color and cannot be interpreted as nudity.
Hey, Thank you for taking your time for helping me out with this issue! I will color my mannequin’s torso and legs or use the method that you suggested. Thanks again!
It’s not precisely clear what content you uploaded so it would be futile to speculate on this, but all content is reviewed on a case by case basis by Roblox. One user can upload content and have it approved whereas another user might have similar content rejected due to differing circumstances.
What might be considered appropriate for you to upload might not also be considered appropriate in the OP’s circumstance.
I guess it doesn’t matter when you use mannequins in-game. Since I had to upload the model because I made different types of mannequins like a single one, top only, bottom only, and mannequin without the head so that I can quickly grab it from my toolbox inventory for the next Homestore. Which caused the warning and got me concerned.
