Image falsely banned my account

My account was falsely banned for uploading a decal through studio . The violation said I couldnt direct users off site. In no way shape or form did this image direct users anywhere,. no links, no real company names, just gibberish text. Well I appealed and both times of course got looked at by an ai and immediately denied. Im worried if this happens again my account will be perma banned. I tried using the support form but the captcha never loads for me.

Is there a way to know how many times more I can be banned? Also im not uploading the image here as I dont know if it could get moderated again.

You can upload it here, this place doesnt use the same moderation as roblox, so as long as you dont upload anything thats like, actually bad, you’ll be fine.
(Along with any moderation things that happen here dont effect your account I believe).

How long we’re you banned for?

Can we see the ban note (and possibly the image if you feel like it)

The AI is probably looking at the bar code and QR code parts of the image. The AI probably isn’t allowed to check where these QR codes lead to and is likely programmed to tell you that you are directing users off site since that’s one of the functions of QR codes.

My phone tried to read the QR code. Of course I’m not going to go to it since I don’t know what you posted on it. Even though I can tell this image looks like a dataplate from a large electric pump I ain’t taking a chance that you haven’t messed with it.

You could try making the QR and bar codes a little fuzzier so that a camera or AI won’t register it.

You got warned/banned for this because you have a bar ode and a QR code as part of the decal… Roblox can’t check if the QR code or the bar code is safe so they just ban u.

Yea this image does infact violate the rules as it looks like. It does violate the roblox platform but it might not in the devforum as there are different rules here

Funny thing is i had the same situation before. Sometimes moderation might mess up and let QR Codes and stuff through but they can get moderated eventually. To keep in mind, for some reason the appeals team doesn’t know the rules very clear sometimes. This means some might have different opinions and restore the image but 99% of them probably won’t

Yes sorry, as the others have stated, this wasnt actually false.

The use of a QR code or bar code even if they dont work still classifies as directing users off platform.

If it was just a warning then I wouldnt worry about it to much, Im not sure how many warnings it takes but after a few of them you get a 1 day ban. At that point is when you start worrying.

Lol, I have the same problem, but I erased all the barcodes.

well technically you arent having the same problem, theirs was justified, although I havent looked at yours yet, if yours is false its different from this one.

oh boy i sure wonder how THIS got moderated

How is my problem different? The only difference is that I erased the barcode, but I was banned anyway.

The issue is different, because in this post, it isnt an issue.

The person in this post did in fact get warned for the right reason, in your case, it could have been false (again I havent looked at your case).

tl;dr the cases are different because this person was moderated correctly, and you werent (allegedly ).

Well I had no idea, thanks I guess theres nothing else I can do

Yea i had the same situation. I was like “This gotta be false” but i guess they moderate any kind of QR Code. This is the response i had from support:

So fact is:
Moderators will mostlikely moderate you for having a QR Code uploaded regardless if it was leading to a website or not. Getting the image restored is just a temporary solution as it could be taken down again later
