A new search bar for the image picker in properties was added last week. This is a very useful quality of life change, and I’d totally use this over the asset manager for changing content properties if it could be a bit more efficient. I suggest that the search bar could be automatically focused, and when the arrow keys are used, it’ll automatically focus the first image in the list, and allowing seamless navigation with arrow keys.
To get into the item list, you currently have to press tab twice, and enter will try to upload an image instead of selecting it.
Current workflow:
- Click content value in properties window
- Press tab once / click search bar
- Enter search query
- Scroll & select item
Possible workflow:
- Click content value in properties window
- Enter search query
- Press down arrow key to focus first in list, use arrow keys to move & enter.
