Images Failing to Upload : "Upload failed. Make sure what you're uploading is an image."

Hello! I’m a current UI designer that relies on hand-made images to be uploaded on ROBLOX. I had a laptop that could perfectly upload images with no issue, but ever since I’ve switched to my new PC, I haven’t gotten a chance to even upload a single image.

Here’s my issue.

I have these few logos for a gun shop UI that I plan to implement in, but they won’t load. Whenever I try to do it in Studio or the Website, the same error occurs.

i clicked upload, which resets the file name to “no file chosen”

I scrolled around the devforum and tried to look for other solutions, but most of the forums that I’ve found either didn’t help, or they were outdated.

Can anyone help?

can you give us a download of one of the pictures to see why it may be the case?
it could be that the name says loke.png but it actually isnt a png.

weird, it definitely works?

What name do you publish it as?

Locke seems to be censored.

So for some reason the word “Locke” is filitered by Roblox’s chat system.

Try changing the name of the file to “LFA” (Locke Firearms) and reuploading.

The image file you uploaded here worked perfectly fine, it gave me no error.

If the problem persists I’d try changing your browser and trying again as it is probably a local issue at that point.

My upload of the file:

i have reason to believe that its part of my computer’s protection system, but i can’t confirm it, nor can i fix it. this occurs with many other images other than that one locke image.

I just had this problem too, I checked the image size of the file i was uploading and it was too large which makes sense why it thought it wasnt an image, I then got a lower file size version of my .png and it worked!
