Hi guys. So I am making a scam education game where you can learn about scams so you don’t fall for them. I uploaded a few images, some of which got accepted. However, these three didn’t for some reason. I don’t know if roblox thinks that I was the scammer, but I digress.
Now I can get why roblox would warn me for uploading such images. I could be trying to scam people! But somehow these games, in robloxes eyes, are perfectly ok to be uploaded!
I was wondering how I could make it so these decals could be uploaded to roblox without violating the ToS. Like I could put some text on there saying “THIS IS FAKE AND A SCAM” as a disclaimer? I don’t want to get banned… Please help? Thank you!
Somethings that may be triggering moderation.
Small text - Moderation can often auto decline if text is too small and cannot be read.
Use of the word “Site” - Roblox moderation does not agree with any uses of the word site due to legal blinding issues.
“.com/robuxgenerator” will instantly get your image declined, cover the entire link.
The word “Robux” can be seen in the second image, thats often a red flag for moderation.
Word “Password” is also a take down due to personal information being displayed.
You can try contacting the Mod_Review_Requests group if you feel your assets were incorrectly moderated.
The whole invisibility shirt thing was clamped down on a couple of years ago for being a complete scam; this was probably moderated because Roblox want no references to it on the platform, and that image might seem like an advertisement.
The other image is literally of a scam game; it’s telling people to enter their usernames and passwords, so those reasons are why that was declined.
Adopt Me games have been around for years; they evolved from the hundreds of ‘Adopt and Raise…’ games. There’s no reason for that game to be taken down because it’s not directly copying Adopt Me, it presumably doesn’t feature stolen assets from Adopt Me, nor does it feature any inappropriate content. It’s not the most relevant example to compare moderated assets with; it’s much easier to moderate a single asset than an entire game.
Realistically, you shouldn’t be showcasing all of these scams. Roblox don’t want them to be found on the platform, and having their contents displayed via decals just goes against what Roblox’s interests, hence why they’ve been moderated. As I said, you could try contacting Mod_Review_Requests, but I doubt they would approve the assets since it’s quite clear why they were declined, so your only alternative would be to use different images (which aren’t related to scamming).
In the first one try censoring the whole link without mentioning that it’s a site, for the third one I’m pretty sure the words " Login to ROBLOX " triggered the system, maybe cover the words that have anything to do with loging into an account, and maybe remove the text under the Facebook button (It’s somewhat small and is forged together), and for the last one just use " Scam game " for the title and maybe remove any small text and the cut off text that says " Recommended games ", and maybe the second one was declined as it is a famous scam, try adding a disclaimer to that, that’s pretty much it, good luck! (I’m not sure if these will work but it’s worth a shot)
The Adopt Me one is stolen from Adopt Me (Thumbnail-wise), that giraffe is in the game, and that background seems low poly like Adopt me is, so maybe it triggered the moderation bot/ system.
