Currently, about me section is limited to text, which isn’t enough to create a unique profile. Having images in about me section would allow users to show off thier creations, create unique banners and more stuff. I don’t see why it isn’t allowed yet.
Please allow us to put images in our profiles.
Would love to see this, would bring a lot more creativity to profiles specially making them unique to each person.

you just need to do this (Roblox only allows known sources on pictures for security reasons)
Maybe because they have to find a way to moderate them first they can’t even properly moderate pictures in studio alone so how are they suppose to do that on the platform?

My comment there is not relevant for this feature request. It only concerns the in-line linking of externally hosted files. It is not relevant for discussions about linking images that are hosted on the forum itself.
