Situation, when advertisiment has higher resolution limit than regular images.
Conclusion
I’ll use advertisiments as textures, materials and much more if I’ll ever verify myself in roblox that I’m 18+, but it’s unlikely to occur.
Maximum size, images can be uploaded in 4K resolution but the engine will downscale them to 1024x1024 maximum. Videos have this same limitation; they get downscaled at runtime.
In my opinion this is horrible. I don’t want games to implement video ads… Imagine joining a game to get a 15 second unskippable add just to continue playing, or a daily reward forcing you to watch a ad. I think this is stupid and ads don’t belong on a child gaming platform.

I wonder if that means Roblox plans to go to 4k soon…
The chances of that happening are very low due to the requirements that the immersive ad needs to have to display and make money for the Creator.

Yeah, I understand that a lot of people don’t like the idea of ads, but I seriously doubt people are going to ruin their games by forcing them on people, especially before people even have a reason to like the game. That wouldn’t be received well at all and would likely just get the game downvoted and destroy the playtime.

I hope so, because I don’t want Roblox to become like every mobile game right now if you know what I mean (5 unskippable ads a second on your screen and constant ad rewards etc)
On one side I love the idea for ads, because it’s a great extra way to earn money without necessarily interrupting gameplay and things like that, however offcourse like I said before I just don’t want people to take advantage of putting ads on people’s screens because it would make everything super boring and annoying to play. Let’s see what the future brings us I guess 
When the ads show up is at Roblox’s discretion, if they’re abusing it then the chances of Immersive Ads perms being revoked is very high. If you report it when you see it under Misusing Roblox Systems that will discourage devs from abusing it
Just added an ad board to my game to test it out, when exactly does it start playing ads? or am i doing something wrong it says I’m eligible
Same, I got a few image ads and portal ads in my game now that i just added today, i just been seeing the same block like you.
I’m wondering this as well. Have you found any answers?
As far as I have noticed while playing games, the ad board randomly plays a ad for a random user at a random time. When I do play a game sometimes it plays a ad for me and other times it just stays the template, so it’s pretty random.
I haven’t been able to get an answer to this.
