Immortal Studios' Staff Hierarchy

1. Introduction

Most groups and games on Roblox follow the traditional staff hierarchy of administrators (admins) and moderators (mods). Immortal Studios does not follow such hierarchy but rather a more unique system based on divisions. This system allows Immortal Studios to have a large and reactive staff team effectively. This thread will explain our system as well as what each division does.

2. Staff Policy

In Immortal Studios, we believe that a staff member is equal to a normal player. Thus, staff members are expected to follow the rules that everyone else has to follow. This includes, but not limited to, the following:

  1. You may not abuse your moderation power that have been given to you in any of the games or projects released by Immortal Studios.
  2. You may not use your moderation powers to earn any profit. For example, you may not ban someone if they give you any limited, robux, or any other virtual currency, in game or otherwise. This also includes scamming users.
  3. You may not use your moderation powers to give benefits to yourself and/or your friends. This is completely unfair for the players that work hard in any of our released games and projects.
  4. As a staff member for Immortal Studios, you are representing Immortal Studios’ core ideas. Thus, you may not conduct any hate speech, illegal activity, and/or other actions that do not follow Roblox’s Terms of Use and their Community Rules.

2.1. Moderation of Staff Members

Failure to follow the above rules will result in moderation action taken against you within Immortal Studios. Please see the list below for a list of possible moderation actions:

  • For minor offenses, a warning may be issued. If a staff member gains a large amount of warnings within a short time frame, they will be demoted from the staff team. This may be appealed at the discretion of the appeal division
  • For mild offenses, the player may be demoted from the staff team. If the offense is dire enough, the player may be banned. The ban may be appealed at the discretion of the appeal division but the demotion cannot be appealed.
  • For severe offenses, the player will be demoted from the staff team and will be banned. This cannot be appealed.

3. Developer Division

Within this hierarchy, the developer division simply exists as the developers Immortal Studios’ games and projects. Members in this division often are active in several other divisions and may help you with any questions that you have. Members of this division may do the following examples:

  • Build and/or model new content
  • Program
  • Graphical design
  • Game design
  • Marketing

4. Moderation Division

As the name suggestions, members in this division work to moderate all of Immortal Studios, which includes the group wall as well as any game and project released by Immortal Studios. Members in this division may help with the appeal process but appeals are ultimately controlled by the appeal division. Members of this division may do the following:

  • Kick, mute, and/or ban you in any of Immortal Studios’ games and projects.
  • Kick you from Immortal Studios.

5. Community Division

Arguably the most important division, this division serves to help the community in any way that it can. Members of this division may do the following:

  • Answer questions and provide general help for the community
  • Host social gatherings for the community
  • Provide clarity with the community on issues relating to Immortal Studios
*Maintain a social media presence to help the community

5.1. Support Division

Within this division includes the support division. The support division is a subdivision of the community division and are solely focused on helping the community with issues. These issues may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Data loss
  • Purchase issues
  • General questions

5.2. Community Managers

The two Community Managers are the leaders of the community division. A Community Manager hosts community events as well as manages the social media accounts for Immortal Studios. The current Community Managers for Immortal Studios are MiniJerry and Regiisteelium_Z.

5.3 Division Overseer

In Immortal Studios, we employ a special staff member to be the Division Overseer. The Division Overseer simply oversees all of the divisions and their activity. The Division Overseer is not the owner of the group but rather a high ranking staff member that helps maintain the group’s structure. In the traditional admin and mod system, the Division Overseer would be the Head Administrator. The current Division Overseer is Vlynis.

6. Appeal Division

Once a user has been moderated by the moderation division, that user may be able to request an appeal to remove a desired punishment. For example, a user might request to have a week long ban lifted from a select game or project made by Immortal Studios. Members in the appeal division are able to do the following:

  • Clear a user’s moderation history
  • Revoke a recent punishment
  • Extend punishments

7. Recruitment Division

When a user is interested in joining Immortal Studios’ staff team or when we are currently looking for new staff members, the recruitment division will be involved. The chief purpose of this division is to make sure that new staff members meet the criteria that is required for our staff members. Members of this division are able to do:

  • Promote players to be a Hall Monitor
  • Promote Hall Monitors to full staff members

8. Hall Monitors

In the traditional administrator and moderator system, there is often a role for users to serve as a trial moderator. In our system, this is done through the Hall Monitor program. A Hall Monitor is simply a person from the community that is being reviewed and tested to see if they would be a good staff member. While Hall Monitors are still technically staff members, they do not have any noticeable permissions.
