Hello everyone,
I’m working in Maya to develop some cool animations for non-humanoids stuff.
The scene is actually in CM unit measure and when importing the animated fbx to studio and then create the animation in the animation editor, the animation does not respect the grid as it is supposed on Maya.
For sake of simplicity, I’m reportin an easy example: I would like to import a scene in which a part moves around another part.
To do so, I’m undergoing the following steps:
-
Exporting the animation from Maya in the correct way, following the relevant Roblox guidelines and reading the spefic tutorial from @ Esb9999.
-
Importing the fbx to Roblox with the 3D importer setting the scale to CM and using the scene Position
-
Creating the animation with the animation editor setting the animation “from Selected”
I can’t actually share the place because the animation won’t work, so I’m attachin all the relavant assets to test it.
You will immediatly notiche that the animation doesn’t follow how it looks like in Maya.
Does anyone have any hint on this topic?
Thank you so much for your help
