Imported Models Mesh Is Black

You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
Trying to import models to complete a game I have been working on.

  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
The issue is that the imported models come in with black and in some cases red shading
when in Blender it has the color and all. This was never an issue in the past, but it seems
something has changed that is causing this issue in Roblox Studio.

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
I’ve searched the forum and there were information speaking on baking and rendering
but these are models that used to be imported with color. The other options seem to not
work or I am missing a step.

I assume you already have 1 baked out texture? Assuming that’s true, manually upload it to Roblox as an image and use that as the image for the texture?

Thanks for your response. If it’s possible could you tell me how to do that?

to upload the texture to Roblox, go to the create tab and click decals. Select the files, upload the texture, and copy the link and paste it into the texture property

also download the image from the uv editor

Good Morning, for whatever reason once it’s imported into Roblox it still shows up black.

Good Morning, I tried the steps and it still didn’t work unfortunately.

What I forgot to add is that I had a model I was working on that did work and still does showing all the textures and when I tried recently to import the original of the same model that wasn’t worked on and it is now black. Could this be a bug of some sort?
