Hello there!
I’ve been struggling with importing rigged characters in Roblox (such as FNaF models) since I’ve been trying hard to recreate the AI system in “Forgotten Memories” a game where FNaF animatronics are wandering around the building and they tend to follow the player when it gets close.
But first of all, I’d just like to import a rigged character and give it animations SUCCESSFULLY. Any help or suggestions?
I’ll give any credit to the creator if from an external website and if the item is CC.
Since (I assume) any and all fnaf models have too many polygons to be uploaded as a single model, your only real solution is going to the toolbox.
There’s some really good imported models on the toolbox, they have full PBR mapping however aren’t rigged.
The models are uploaded by CentCentras and they’ll have a render of the animatronic for the icon.
It is of course possible to rig them, and with a tool like MoonAnimator and a lot of welds, it isn’t too hard to do so.
Of course, moon costs 2k robux now, so you may have to find an alternative if you can’t afford it or don’t have it.
As for pre-rigged toolbox models, you won’t find many high-quality ones, so I’d suggest you get the ones mentioned above and rig them yourself.
You can find all the mentioned models here:
And I hope this helps
Thanks a lot mate!
Now just asking for the rigging progress; I think I’m going to rig the Endoskeleton and hands and feet and then I’m going to weld the Suit to the Endo Skeleton. would it be a good idea?
and yes this helped a lot!!
