Improbable Battles v0.0.1

My game Improbable Battles is pretty much done in a sense that it probably works how it should.

In all honesty this topic is mostly a way to get the game a little more known, I can’t really get effective advertisements or sponsors with my measly budget.

Improbable Battles

In short, this game is a first-third action shooter, based in the 18th and 19th century.
It was made with mostly free models, so I don’t quite take credit for things like the weapon systems.
The music is also not mine. The music used in the game are the main menu theme song for Napoleon: Total War, “Before Sunrise”, by Gaijin Entertainment for the game War Thunder, and Xian, composed by Antti Martikainen Music.

I would like further feedback on this game to see what to improve in the game, I think it would be beneficial to not only me but others in a sense. Thank you for reading this topic.

I’m going to assume you’re of course aware of the game
Blood & Iron, so I’ll base my feedback mostly on comparisons to why that game works more. I’ll also be shortening it to “BI” for the sake of the both of us. My feedback:

  1. A spawn area just doesn’t feel right in the game. If you look at BI, you’ll see that it starts with a GUI, which feels far more nice than a spawn area(not to say a lobby is bad to have in a roblox game as they work in many games; it’s just that due to BI’s existence, they’ll be expecting a similar handling of things as you’re in the same genre as them)
  2. Kinda the same point, but you should limit the more aggressive parts of the GUI(aka all the stuff on the top of the screen) to a GUI that only appears when you’re choosing your team/spawning.
  3. The loud music isn’t good, and should either be entirely removed or made a toggle. If you look at BI, you’ll see the only music in it is the music playable by a in-game class, or in the toggleable classical music playlist. Having obnoxiously loud music playing by default makes things just feel worse. It isn’t good to have.

Anyways, the main takeaway from all this: Don’t just copy BI, understand why people like BI. You need to bring yourself to a high enough quality as BI is for people to look at your game and actually consider it over BI. BI has had over a decade of polish and improvements added to it, so don’t feel discouraged just because you can’t make your game as good as BI in a day.
I understand you’re a beginner(I’m no better, really). Hearing that you need to change a lot about the game probably isn’t the best thing to hear lol, but it’s necessary to do these things if you want your game to be even considered by a player of BI. Replacing the free models as your skill improves is also a necessity if you want the game to actually grow.

First of all, fix the thumbnail. Get an image from the game, try make a GFX, but don’t use the default Roblox image. Also nice choice on the music.
